Today we got an early start. This was due to the fact that we went to bed early the night before and also that temperatures were in the forties and didn’t permit us to get much sleep. We make it to Eugene were we had breakfast. After walking around the town for a bit, we realized there wasn’t much there to see and heading north to Portland to find a place to stay and see the sites in the city. It was quite disappointing to find out that a city named after me sucked so much. Upon arriving in Portland, we tried to go on a microbrewery tour, but unfortunately it didn’t start for a few hours, so we headed to an Internet café. Since we were back in civilization, we decided to catch-up on our emails. I spend about an hour emailing back and forth with Angela. After this we headed north to check into our hotel, which was right on the river. From here we decided to check out the Taste of Vancouver festival. That would be Vancouver, Washington, not British Columbia. The festival sucked, so we went to dinner at a sushi restaurant and then to see this terrible movie that Chris made me go see. It was a documentary that I didn’t enjoy much.
