As I was walking around the Summer Palace yesterday, I started thinking about all of the places I want to visit. I felt it would be best for me to make a note of this somewhere, so this is the place. Most of these are viewed as 2 – 3 week trips unless otherwise noted. The list is in no particular order. I will update this as I think of more places.
Places I haven’t been
- Peru
- Chile with a side trip to Antarctica
- Poland to visit my family, this includes a trip in eastern Germany and the Czech Republic
- US National Parks trip #3 (includes Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, and Grand Tetons at least) – this is probably only a week
- Big Bend National Park – long weekend trip
- Cascades National Park – long weekend trip
- Summer camping trip in Northern Canada, fly in by pontoon plane and camp on the lake – long weekend trip, maybe a week
- Visit Northern Canada during the winter to see the truck convoys over the frozen lakes – long weekend trip
- Malaysia
- New Zealand
- Australia and dive the Great Barrier Reef
- England, Ireland, Wales, and Scotland
- France
- Colombia
- Cuba
- Taiwan
- African Safari
- Guatemala
- Alaska – this would probably be a cruise (at least the first time)
- Greece
- Western Germany and a bunch of countries around there
Places I’ve been and would like to visit again
- Rome and the rest of Italy
- Portugal with Lisbon and driving up the coast to Porto
- Spain, including Madrid and then the rest of the cities I’ve never seen
- Vancouver – long weekend trip
- Hong Kong
- Beijing during the autumn – I could see what I want to here within a week
- Northern California – one week trip
- Key West – long weekend trip
- Orlando to visit Disney again – long weekend trip
- Of course always trips to visit family in PA
- NYC
