After sleeping in, it was off to Bath for part of the weekend. I had originally planned to stop at Stonehenge on my way to Bath, but after talking with someone at the hostel, I modified my plans to take a tour from Bath. So I bought tickets on the train to Bath where I only had one transfer. Again once I arrived, I checked in and left my bags to walk around town. Bath is famous for the old Roman hot springs. After booking a tour to Stonehenge the next day, I took a tour of the hot springs complex. Then it was off to check out more of the city. Bath has some awesome old architecture to offer. The city was also quite busy because there were two different festivals going on. One was an international music festival and one was a Fringe festival. This contributed to a large number of people in the city, but also to having musicians walking around and performing on the streets. I closed out the evening by sitting in a bar listening to a jazz band while booking things for the rest of my trip.
