After a refreshing night’s sleep, I was looking forward to heading out for the day. I grabbed some breakfast at the hostel and headed for the Tube. Unfortunately the line that I was trying to get on was not running because there was someone under the train a station away. I ended up jumping on the bus to a station that I could get on the Tube. My first stop for the day was the Dali Experience. It was pretty interesting and I see why Dave (from Moto) recommended I go. From there it was off to get more pictures of Big Ben and Parliament. I was unable to get a tour, so I headed across the street to Westminster Abby and walked around. I was quite annoyed that I was unable to take any pictures inside. Although I think if I had been able to that I would have taken a couple hundred pictures. I then grabbed lunch at a pub where I had my first English cask ale with what turned out to be chicken pot pie. Yet another English food which did not disappoint me by not exceeding expectations. I then walked around a number of the parks while taking a number of pictures. I stopped at a pub for another cask ale where there was a crazy homeless lady stealing beers from people. After being beat from a day of walking all over, I grabbed dinner and headed back to the hostel to relax and socialize a bit.
