Fearing the worst from Monday morning travelers, I got up at 4:30am this morning to get ready for my trip and get to the airport. It turned out that I had nothing to fear and was sitting around at the airport when I could have been sleeping in instead. Arriving at LAX 3 hours later, my brother picked me up from the airport and we left to go to Omelet Happy Hour. After breakfast we headed south to Redondo Beach and walked around there for a couple of hours. We then met up with family in Mission Viejo to visit with them and to go out for dinner. Finishing dinner it was time to head back to my brother’s place in North Hollywood. Having been up since 4:30, I was ready to get some sleep so that we could get an early start tomorrow.
